We built GhostCallers because UK scam calls deserve a fair fight.
Unsolicited calls in the UK are getting cheaper to make and harder to spot. AI voices, spoofed caller-IDs, and rotating mobile numbers mean a scammer can call thousands of people a day from a kitchen table. GhostCallers exists to flip that asymmetry: a free, fast, privacy-friendly place where anyone in the UK can check a number and warn other people about a bad one.
What we are
GhostCallers is a community-powered reverse phone lookup service for the United Kingdom. Every report is written by a member of the public who answered the phone and decided to share what happened. We do not buy data, we do not scrape databases, and we do not pretend to know more than we do.
What we are not
We are not a regulator, a directory of personal information, or a substitute for Action Fraud. Reports on GhostCallers are user-submitted opinions, not statements of fact. We rely on our moderation queue and your "report this comment" button to keep things accurate.
How we make money
